Who We Are

CREEative Connections is a team effort brought to you by Chris and Lisa Cree. Yes we’re married and bring all that more than 10 years of marriage implies into this little endeavor of ours. We bring two very different perspectives to the site.

And we don’t always agree.

But you might say we have both become serial entrepreneurs. We like to start new things. It should be pretty easy for you to figure out which of us is talking in the posts and comments.

Lisa Cree is the outgoing one who puts the fun into things. She tends to make friends quickly and excels at networking face to face and is our analog networking expert. Technology stuff doesn’t come easy to her but she’s leaning.

Lisa worked for more than 20 years as a veterinary technician, most of that time in zoos working around exotic animals. More recently Lisa started a thriving local chapter of eWomenNetwork here in Savannah. eWN is an international business womens’ networking organization and starting the Savannah chapter from zero taught her a lot about what successful networking takes.

Chris Cree is the introverted one who let’s his geekiness shine. His natural tendency is to hang back and be the wall flower, though he’s working on it. His expertise is in blogging and social media. Chris is very good at making connections with a wide variety of people on line and is our digital networking expert. He’s got the tech side of thing covered.

Chris has had a diverse career that includes 6 years launching off of aircraft carriers and more than 15 years working on the docks in and around cargo ships. At the beginning of 2008 Chris left that career path to start the blogging and social media consulting firm SuccessCREEations, Inc. which specializes in all things WordPress.
